Very wise post Joey! I, too, believe that it is up to US how our lives are led whether it be from within or with help from others. I don’t know about “The Secret”–I watched the trailer and read some stories–I just believe it is up you to make the right decisions for yourself.

It is wonderfully sweet of you to do that for a stranger and I have done similar many times throughout my adulthood.

BUT! Too many flags there! Do you feel the need to save her? I would but, at the same time, I’d be afraid that my ‘help’ would only hurt her further–quite the dilemma!

Wow! You are so overwhelmed! That’s why you can’t find a starting point! You might need to just start with a corner and get that straightened, then the next and so on.

If finances have stopped the building of the rooms, is it possible to put shelves in one of them and use it for storage for the time being?

I really wish I could say we have, Margie. My husband built a ten by ten ‘room’ onto the camp trailer and a second ten by ten on top of it. It looks a lot like a saltine cracker box standing on end. After he was laid off our finances have diminished to his one unemployment check and cut our income in half. We are in a bit of a limbo. His mother does have a two bedroom trailer out there that is looking better and better. We lived in the addition last winter and it is a we bit too tiny, cramped and cave-like for six people. We shall see.

Wow! What a difference!! The ‘after’ pics look like my cabin when I lived there. The ‘before’ pics look like the cabin after I left Rick all alone–disgusting!!
